Chilean Dolphin

Chilean dolphins are thickly shaped with a
blunt head. The dorsal and pectorals are black.
The throat, belly and parts near the flippers are white.
The body is a dark grey.
They are very similair to the Hector's Dolphin.

Chilean dolphin was first named Black Dolphin,
However this doesn't describe the species well
They look a lot like Hector's Dolphins but darker.

Their pods contain 2 till 15 individuals.
Nothing is known about their mating or
gestation. However scientists agree this
must be close to their relative species; the Commerson's
and Hector's Dolphin.

There are currently no Chilean Dolphins in captivity.
No past cases are known of Chilean Dolphins in Captivity.
